I had the pleasure of hearing a funny story the other day regarding relationships in Jackson Hole. Full disclosure, some might find this to be offensive, but don’t be mad at me, I’m just the messenger.
You’ve often heard in movies or perhaps even in reality the rating system that men and women establish to rate the attractiveness of someone. Often these scales will range from 1 to 10 – the higher the number, the more attractive that person is.
Well, given the 8-to-1 or 7-to-1 ratio of men to women in Jackson Hole, I was told there was an adjustment to that scale. Because of the scarcity of women in this town, a woman who would “normally” (whatever that means) be a 7 would be a Jackson Hole 9.
However, it has an opposite affect on men. A man who would normally be a 7 would be a Jackson Hole 5. How do you like them apples… a complete 4-point swing.
Word of advice: if moving here, best to bring a partner with you, otherwise good luck out there guys.
